Fun Sunday Five: Vol 6

October 12, 2014

Are you a DIY-er? I’m learning about it, but craftingΒ is a huge challenge for me. This week I collected some more projects that seem pretty manageable. If you have any suggestions, let me know! Have a lovely Sunday, friends!

  1. Make this gorgeous gold marbled pencil holder!
  2. Here are 10 easy upcycled projects, including a pretty leaf print.
  3. I’ve been eyeing theselittle leather bracelets and would LOVE to make one.
  4. Looking for a fall wreath to make? Check out my friend Lauren’s idea! (not pictured)
  5. Make this lovely lavender whipped body butter for dry hands and feet.

One more thing. A very happy birthday shout-out to my sweet father-in-law. We love you!!

Love the gold marble cup holder!

  • Sarah @ 12 Twenty Seven

I’m a DIYer but I don’t like to share because I’m also a perfectionist-LOL! I may step into that area of blogging sometime but not any time soon! If you make any of these, you HAVE to share!

  • Emily Attwood

Love that pencil holder. How cute!

  • Kiki

    I love to find little trinkets or vases at thrift stores and paint them, or tie ribbon around them. Pinterest helps if you need some help being DIY creative. (;

    • Daisy @ Simplicity Relished

That sounds so cool, Kiki! I’ll have to try that some time πŸ™‚

  • Hayley Larue

Crafting is a challenge for me too! I so wish I could get myself to do more DIY projects, but in the middle of them, I’m just like “Ok, I’m tired.” haha. I commend those who are avid DIYers! πŸ™‚

    • Daisy @ Simplicity Relished

  • Ash @ The Nashvillian

I can’t say I’m any good at crafty stuff – I did do a few things for my wedding that turned out great, but it was super stressful to me. I’d love to get better, though, and work on some decor for the house!

    • Daisy @ Simplicity Relished

Oh gosh I didn’t do much DIY for my own wedding– just the invitations and programs because I thought paying for them was absurd… but yeah, so much work! And DIY is the best for home stuff– something to work towards:)

  • beth mishoe

I want to try this leaf stamp.

I used to be really into crafting and DIY, but that’s on hold for now because craft supplies are hard to track down (for cheap) in Philly. BUT, that marbled cup tutorial almost makes me want to craft again.

Ah I hear you, Lauren! I’m amazed at your crafting skills though! That’s so cool πŸ™‚
