Happy Independence Day Weekend, Americans! And Happy Friday, everyone!
Today we’re off to our second international destination this summer– I can’t believe how quickly our 5 days at home went by. My desire to lie in bed for a day is only slightly overshadowed by the great excitement I feel for our next stop.
I already mentioned this back when I shared our summer plans: we’re going to Ecuador! Only this time, our focus will be on volunteering with Casa Victoria (more on the organization later!), which I heard about from the lovelyKatie at Hope Engaged. I am so thrilled to be working with kids in Quito for the next 3 weeks, and hopefully getting to see some of this amazing country!
But fear not, this little blog will (hopefully) keep chugging along during our adventures. I haven’t finished sharing every tidbit about Japan that I want to.
